That went Well!

Yesterday the Lagan Sessions returned to the Sunflower Bar.

For many, it was their first live music event since before the first covid lockdown and for many, it was the first time we had socialised with friends in public too.

There was some anxiety and uncertainty about social distancing. There was also a passion for the music and a kinship amongst the players and the audience. We were all there to share in something very special, and there was a real sense of joy in the room all day.

Events like this bring me enormous inspiration.

Let's hope this is just the start.
