This time last year, I entered a song in a new competition for songwriters over the age of 50 - Talent is Timeless. Begun and organised during lockdown by Saskia Griffiths-Moore , Talent is Timeless has become much more than a competition for many of the participants. Sure, I didn't win, but through it I've made a bunch of new friends, and written a load of new songs, some of whom I played a gig with in London in August. I even got to go to Abbey Road but that's another story!
So, its' all starting again. In a couple of days the entries close for this year's competition, and I'm entering a song I actually wrote during one of the Talent is Timeless songwriting workshops.
I hope you like it - it's called "Feathers in the Snow".
